スマホの使い方 この記事を読んでください
こんにちは、
こちらの記事はCAJLTが届きましたけど、面白いと思います。
I got this article from CAJLT (California Association of Japanese Language Teachers) and I thought it was interesting.

この記事を読んでどう思いますか。周りの人のスマホの使い方はどう思いますか。
What do you think of this article? What do you think of cell phone usage amongst your friends?
このビデオも含まれていました。同じアプリを使いますか。使ったことがありますか。
This video was also included. Do you use the same apps? Have you used them before?

I think that this article is a great way of showing us how much people use their phones and how. I think that it is right And I'm not surprised to see how much people use their phones.
The video was funny and I laughed a lot. I don't use much of the apps that they showed me, but I use some.

I'm not surprised about the amount of time people spend on their phones. I personally, do not use any of those apps except for Snapchat, but I don't think that it is a very good social media app because everything goes away after 24 hours.

The amount of time people spend on their phones isn't surprising, although it seems that a surprising number of people don't have phones (this shows the Japanese are smart enough to realize the flip phones superiority). I haven't used a single one of the apps, as I don't got no smart phone.

I thought this article was very informative on the way people use their phones. Even though I don't use any of those apps, I understand how and why people spend so much time on them. Also like Wyatt, I have no smart phone to use them

I also thought it was surprising how much people use their apps but I was more surprised how many people listen to music!

I thought the video was all over the place, they didn't seem to always be focused on the video and more on conversing with each other over their favorite apps. Other than that the video was good, a showcase of mainly apps only popular in the East or only Japan.

A reply to Wyatt
Your comment made me laugh.
I HAVE a flip phone. So I'd love to agree with you about it's superiority, but....
I just wanted to point out that your notion that Japanese people agree with you on its superiority is, sadly, false.
Actually it used to be true. In Japan flip phones are called ガラケー short for Galapagos Keitai... because they are thought to be highly evolved compared to foreign cell phones! Cool, right?
But... these days... the data shows 1) 8 of 10 high school students have smart phones. The other two most likely have NO phone, not flip phones. Young people do NOT have flip phones... ever! 2) population as a whole "garakei" is now under 40%, and as the data showed, number of smart phones has increased 400% in just a few years. In Japan they speculate that in possibly 5 years or less flip phones won't even be offered anymore.
Just an FYI.
Have a great day
